Clockwork Puppies began with two French Bulldog sisters, brought home in 2023 as family — not as foundation stock. Mama Purdy and her sister Love joined the household as companions first. The program came later.


The Realization

As Purdy grew, her quality became impossible to overlook — structure, temperament, presence. What started as a love story between a family and their dog began revealing something bigger. When Purdy delivered her first litter, the puppies confirmed it. The litter wasn't lucky. It was a pattern. The dogs were that good.


2025  ·  The Program

Clockwork Puppies LLC was established in 2025 — the moment when "we have a great dog" became "we have a program worth building around." Love was placed with her forever family along the way (the right home for her, found at the right time — and yes, she's still featured in the Frenchie Cam, because some bonds outlast paperwork). Charlie, Purdy's daughter, is the next generation.

The Clockwork 5-Star Home Standard

Every Clockwork buyer is evaluated against this standard before a puppy is placed. We call it the 100-Star Standard because Frenchies require intentional care, emotional presence, and breed-specific awareness — not just a willing wallet. A five-star home is the floor; a hundred-star home is what we're actually looking for.

Dog is crated no more than 12 hours per day. Crates are tools — not storage.

Clean & Maintained Home
Home and yard are clean, well-maintained, and safe. Your environment is our puppy's environment.

Mama Purdy's 100-Star Home Questions

These are the questions Mama Purdy would ask if she could interview you herself. We ask them on her behalf — every applicant, every time. Tap to expand.

A Frenchie isn't a weekend hobby. We want to hear about mornings, afternoons, evenings — when you're home, when you're gone, who's there in between. Routine is the spine of a calm dog.
12 hours is the maximum we accept. We're listening for honest answers — not what you think we want to hear. Long crating windows are a deal-breaker, but a thoughtful plan with breaks, walks, and check-ins is welcomed.
Clean doesn't mean staged. It means free of choking hazards, unstable furniture, exposed cords, and toxic plants. Safe means a dog can move through your space without you flinching.
Frenchies bond hard. Usually one person becomes the gravitational center. We want to know who that is, why it'll be them, and whether the rest of the household understands the dynamic.
Frenchies are heat-sensitive (brachycephalic), prone to skin folds, and often have environmental or food sensitivities. Walks at 6 AM in summer, fold-cleaning, gentle shampoos, and an eye for irritation are all part of the deal.
Not table scraps. Not the cheapest bag at the grocery store. We're looking for buyers who understand that diet drives skin, coat, weight, and digestive health — and that "premium" isn't a marketing word, it's a math problem.
Secure fencing (no jumpable gaps). A travel plan that isn't "they'll just sit on my lap." A summer/winter temperature plan. And — critically — water safety. Frenchies sink. Pools without barriers are non-starters.
